Google unveils its latest AI offerings, Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra, at the I/O 2025 conference, bringing a suite of advanced features to its Gemini AI platform. These new tiers, which include enhanced capabilities and higher usage limits, are set to revolutionize how users interact with AI across various applications.
Google AI Pro, formerly known as Google One AI Premium, now offers a more streamlined and powerful experience. Users can access an expanded context window of 1 million tokens, equivalent to 1,500 pages of text or 30,000 lines of code. This tier also includes 300 daily prompts for the Thinking mode and 100 for the Pro mode, along with 20 daily reports for Deep Research.
For those seeking even more robust capabilities, Google AI Ultra provides 12,500 AI Credits per month, 30 TB of storage, and advanced features like Project Mariner and Project Genie. The Ultra tier also includes premium access to YouTube and additional integrations with Google Workspace and Chrome.
The updated Gemini app now integrates seamlessly with Chrome, Gmail, and Google Workspace, providing users with a more cohesive and efficient experience. Additionally, the app includes advanced features such as Jules + Gemini Code Assist, Gemini CLI, and Antigravity, which enhance productivity and creativity.
Google AI Plus, the mid-tier offering, includes 90 daily prompts for the Thinking mode and 30 for the Pro mode, with a context window of 128,000 tokens. This tier also offers 1,000 images per day via Nano Banana and 50 via Nano Banana Pro, along with 20 tracks of music generation per day.
Free users in the US now have access to the “Thinking (3 Pro)” mode, which provides complex reasoning and generative layouts, with daily usage limits. They also have access to Create Images Pro (Nano Banana Pro) for up to three images per day. The free tier includes a context window of 32,000 tokens and basic access to various AI tools.
