Google's Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol is now a hosted project of the Agentic AI Foundation, an organization that also stewards the Model Context Protocol. The foundation, which has seen its membership grow from fewer than 40 organizations in December 2025 to over 250, provides a vendor-neutral umbrella for both A2A and MCP.
The adoption of shared standards like A2A and MCP can significantly reduce integration time and minimize the need for custom glue code in complex workflows. This move gives enterprises more leverage to demand interoperability across platforms, rather than being locked into single-vendor solutions.

Enterprises can start by identifying a cross-system process, such as order-to-cash or supplier onboarding, and piloting an agent to monitor events and draft actions for human approval.
RadarFirst announces an Agentic Layer, adding purpose-built AI agents to its privacy and AI governance platform. These agents assist with tasks like incident intake, data gathering, and case prioritization, while stopping short of making regulatory decisions. This allows privacy and AI compliance teams to focus on critical judgment calls, aligning with emerging human-in-the-loop regulatory expectations.
Privacy and AI governance programs can benefit from these agent layers, treating them as structured paralegal support. Pilot projects should begin with intake and case preparation, expanding only after trust in their summaries and prioritization is established.
